Xianjin Yang/China/Fraud

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Xianjin Yang, a criminal illegal alien from China, in South Charleston, West Virginia, on charges of fraud by swindling.

Fraud by swindling involves deliberate deception and misrepresentation to obtain money or property from victims. Under West Virginia law, the offense can carry misdemeanor or felony penalties depending on the amount involved and the number of victims. Criminal illegal aliens convicted of fraud offenses are subject to both state criminal penalties and federal removal proceedings.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers apprehended Yang in South Charleston. He currently remains in federal immigration custody and faces removal proceedings before a Department of Justice immigration judge, with potential deportation back to China.
