Lucio Manchame-Ramos/Honduras/Child Neglect

by G. George | July 18, 2025

ERO Chicago arrested Lucio Manchame-Ramos, a 29-year-old citizen and national of Honduras, in Wisconsin on July 11, 2025, following confirmation of his unlawful presence in the United States and an outstanding final order of removal. According to ICE records, an immigration judge ordered Manchame-Ramos removed from the U.S. on February 28, 2025. He did not comply with that order and remained in the country without legal authorization.

Manchame-Ramos was recently arrested by local authorities on charges of child neglect involving a victim under the age of six. Offenses of this nature involve failure to provide necessary care, supervision, or protection to a minor and are taken seriously under both criminal and immigration law. While ICE has not released the full details of the local criminal case, the charge reflects a significant concern involving the welfare of a young child.

There is no additional information available at this time regarding the outcome of the child neglect charge or whether Manchame-Ramos has other prior criminal convictions. He is currently in ICE custody and will remain detained pending his removal to Honduras in accordance with the February 28 order.
