Frank Marlon Guaman
Frank Marlon Guaman/Ecuador/Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Restraint
Frank Marlon Guaman, an illegal alien and citizen of Ecuador, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston. Guaman has a documented criminal history that includes serious convictions for reckless endangerment and unlawful restraint stemming from incidents in New Haven, Connecticut. These convictions resulted in a sentence of three and a half years in prison, which he served prior to ICE custody.
According to court records, Guaman endangered the safety of others through reckless actions and unlawfully restricted another person’s liberty—offenses that posed a clear threat to the community. After serving his sentence, Guaman was transferred to ICE custody for immigration enforcement action. ICE officers confirmed that Guaman entered the United States illegally and had no legal right to remain in the country.
ERO Boston placed a detainer on Guaman while he was incarcerated to ensure he did not return to the community after completing his sentence. Following his arrest, he was processed and remains in ICE detention pending his removal proceedings. He has no pending immigration relief and is subject to removal under current U.S. immigration law. Guaman will remain in ICE custody until his case is adjudicated.
