Similarly, on February 12, 2025, ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Seattle arrested 47-year-old Jose Marin-Lozano, a citizen of El Salvador, during a targeted enforcement operation in Seattle, Washington. Marin-Lozano is wanted in El Salvador for multiple charges, including aggravated homicide and conspiracy to commit aggravated homicide.
According to records, Salvadoran authorities issued two separate arrest warrants against him—one on September 21, 2020, and another on June 9, 2021. The warrants stem from investigations tied to organized criminal activity in his home country.
ICE officers located Marin-Lozano after receiving confirmation of his fugitive status through international law enforcement channels. At the time of his arrest, he had no lawful status in the United States and had entered the country without inspection, admission, or parole.
Following his apprehension, ICE placed him in custody and initiated removal proceedings based on the outstanding homicide-related charges in El Salvador.
