Almost 350,000 illegal immigrants have been deported during President Donald Trump’s second term, according to a new report.
A senior U.S. Department of Homeland Security official who provided figures to CNN said that 200,000 of those deportations came from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The report comes the same week recent polling shows broad support among voters for deporting criminal illegals.
According to the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll released earlier this week, half of voters (50%) approve of Trump’s handling of immigration, while 75% said they support “deporting immigrants who are here illegally and have committed crimes.”
The 350,000 deportations includes 17,500 “self deportations,” 132,000 deportations by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and repatriations conducted by the Coast Guard, according to CNN.
“This is just the beginning,” DHS’s official X account said along with a screenshot of the CNN report.
ICE’s deportations track to be the highest in a decade.
“In the face of a historic number of injunctions from activist judges, ICE, CBP, and the U.S. Coast Guard have made historic progress to carryout President Trump’s promise of arresting and deporting illegal aliens who have invaded our country,” the DHS official told CNN. “Additionally, illegal aliens are hearing our message to leave now or face the consequence.”
President Trump heavily campaigned on deporting illegal immigrants and restoring law and order.

Shortly after taking office for his second term, Trump signed into law the Laken Riley Act, which requires DHS to arrest illegals in the U.S. who have been charged or convicted of crimes, and took action to secure the U.S. border.
