Nestor Adiel Salamanca/Mexico/Child Molestation
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported 32-year-old Nestor Adiel Salamanca, a Mexican national convicted for molesting a child under the age of 16. He was removed to Mexico by ICE officials and turned over to authorities in his home country March 31.
Salamanca was convicted of lewd molestation of a child under 16 by the District Court of Creek County Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Feb. 11. He was sentenced to 3.5 years, 5 years suspended, following an agreement to self deport.
“The removal of this egregious child sexual offender demonstrates our commitment to ensuring criminal aliens will not roam the streets of our communities, preying on our most vulnerable citizens,” ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Dallas Field Office acting Director Josh Johnson said in a statement. “Through collaboration with our law enforcement partners, we will ensure that sexual predators like this offender are promptly removed.”
