Miami Spring Breaker violently attacked, raped by Haitian criminal illegal shares harrowing ordeal

A young woman from Kentucky who was savagely beaten, raped, and left for dead during a Spring Break trip to Miami is speaking out, after learning months later her alleged attacker was an illegal immigrant from Haiti.

The man charged in the assault, Junior Joseph, 28, was an illegal Haitian with a lengthy criminal record. Records show that he had entered the U.S. on an expired visa.

Joseph walked free for nine months until DNA linked him to the crime, and he was arrested in late December 2024. The criminal illegal alien had racked up a rap sheet for numerous crimes, including domestic violence, battery, burglary, drugs, and resisting arrest, but was never deported until this case.

The 24-year-old victim, using the alias “Jenny,” shared her shocking story during a videotaped interview for The American Border Story, in an effort to give attention to the real victims behind America’s border crisis.

“I didn’t understand that a person who was not supposed to be walking free on our streets, who had been locked up numerous times and was not supposed to be in our country, would kidnap me and beat and rape me until my jaw was broken and my teeth were gone,” Jenny said in the video.

For unknown reasons, U.S. immigration officers removed Joseph from jail and deported him to Mexico a couple of months before the trial was set to start, NBC6 Miami reported in July.

In the 14-minute video, which has her face blurred, “Jenny” recounts her harrowing experience where she went in and out of consciousness while being beaten and raped, followed by the monstrous attacker urinating in her broken nose and mouth.

Now, 18 months later, it’s still hard to talk about the attack in April 2024. “Jenny” said she had been at the beach, her first time in Miami.

After going out with a friend, they got into an argument and she exited the car. While walking down the street, a man confronted her, and that “was just about the last thing that I remembered.”

The unknown assailant began to beat her on the head and knocked her to the ground. He eventually carried her to a house, where he allegedly raped her.

She believes the man left, thinking she was dead, and isn’t sure how she managed to escape the home.

“I thought I had died. I didn’t know where I was. I didn’t know what was happening,” Jenny shared in the video. “I remember looking at him and thinking ‘I don’t know you. Why are you doing this to me?”

A young witness next door said she saw the victim running back and forth in the yard, bleeding from her nose, and called 911, NBC6 reported. Another witness said two men were outside holding onto her while she screamed for help.

Libs of TikTok reposted details of her story, and Jenny gave another interview to the Daily Mail.

She had to recover at home and didn’t learn the suspect’s identity for nine months, until a DNA match led to the arrest of a man who had been picked by police several times, the Daily Mail reported.

“It’s hard to believe there was someone like that on the streets and allowed to repeatedly commit crimes,” she told the Daily Mail. “He was in and out of the court system and he kept doing bad things. It ended with me almost losing my life.”

She sustained serious injuries after being brutally beaten in the head and face. She was taken to a trauma center and had to be intubated and undergo surgery on her nose, wrist, jaw, and lips, and received stitches. Her lower teeth were knocked out.

“My jaw was broken,” she said. “All the bones from below my eye sockets were shattered, all the plates, and the bottom portion of my maxilla where my teeth go… It was completely gone, uh, from him kicking me so hard and beating me in the head.”

She couldn’t speak at the hospital, and when a nurse handed her a sheet of paper, she struggled to write a single word — beaten.

The Daily Mail reported that the initial attack on Spring Break received little media attention. Junior Joseph’s arrest received some local coverage in Florida, as did the short-circuiting of his trial.

She has endured numerous operations since the attack, but she is still pursing her career as a fitness instructor and lifestyle coach.

Jenny shares in the video that her story has forced friends and family with different political views to take a real look at the violent crime by illegals in America. And she wants to use her story to highlight how her attacker exploited a broken immigration and criminal justice system.

The American Border Story is a conservative group devoted to exposing the human impact of the nation’s illegal immigration crisis. Some stories garner national attention, such as that of Rachel Morin, but many others fall through the cracks.

“Normal people cannot comprehend the level of suffering I endured at the hands of that man,” Jenny told the Daily Mail. “I do have faith in the Lord because I am a Christian. God let me stay here for a reason. I have to tell this story so can stop it from happening again.”

Morin, 37, was raped and murdered on a hiking trail in Bel Air, Maryland in August 2023, by an illegal immigrant from El Salvador with a violent past. President Donald Trump highlighted Morin’s tragedy in his campaign for border security and mass deportations.
