Elias Trejo Rivera/Honduras/Sexual Battery, Vandalism, Controlled Substance

Los Angeles-based Enforcement and Removal Operations officers arrested 40-year-old Honduran national Elias Trejo Rivera on November 25 as part of targeted immigration enforcement in Southern California. Trejo Rivera is a registered sex offender with a documented criminal history in the United States.

Records show that his convictions include sexual battery, vandalism, and being under the influence of a controlled substance, reflecting both a sexual offense and additional public-order and drug-related crimes. As a registered sex offender, his presence in the country without legal status places him in a priority category for immigration enforcement.

Trejo Rivera is currently being held in federal immigration custody pending removal proceedings, where authorities will seek to deport him from the United States in light of his criminal record and lack of lawful immigration status.
