Jae Lee/South Korea/First-Degree Assault

On December 29, ICE Baltimore arrested Jae Lee, a criminal illegal alien from South Korea who overstayed his visa by 17 years. Court records confirm Lee’s conviction for first-degree assault, a serious violent offense. Lee’s unlawful presence in the United States extended significantly beyond his authorized stay, demonstrating prolonged immigration violations.

Federal agents apprehended Lee during a targeted immigration enforcement operation after local law enforcement verified his criminal history, visa status, and unlawful immigration status. “He was taken into custody without incident and processed for immigration proceedings,” an ICE spokesman said. Lee holds a final order of removal, indicating that immigration proceedings have concluded and deportation has been legally authorized.

Lee remains in ICE custody pending deportation. Officials are executing his removal based on both his criminal conviction and his extended visa overstay spanning nearly two decades.
