Hussein Hussein/Somalia/Naturalization Fraud, Passport Fraud

ICE officers in Boston arrested Hussein Hussein, a criminal alien from Somalia, on Jan. 1 following his federal convictions for naturalization and passport fraud. Those convictions led to his denaturalization, stripping him of United States citizenship obtained through false representations.

According to immigration authorities, Hussein’s case centers on misrepresentations made during the naturalization process and subsequent fraudulent use of a U.S. passport. A spokesman said Hussein will remain in immigration custody while removal proceedings move forward, with officials now treating him as a removable foreign national rather than a U.S. citizen.
