Juan Gomez-Alejos/Mexico/Harassment and Threatening Communications

Mexican national Juan Gomez-Alejos was arrested by federal immigration authorities in Minneapolis, Minnesota during Operation Metro Surge. Gomez-Alejos was previously convicted of homicide by reckless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol. According to federal records, he was also arrested for driving under the influence in a separate incident.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed that Gomez-Alejos was previously deported before illegally reentering the United States. Federal officials included Gomez-Alejos on the public list of individuals arrested during the Minneapolis enforcement operation in October 2025. According to Department of Homeland Security statements, Gomez-Alejos’s criminal history demonstrates a pattern of serious traffic safety violations and his status as a repeat deportee.
