‘Worst of the worst’ criminal illegal aliens convicted of child sexual offenses

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the arrests of additional criminal illegal aliens across the country, including individuals convicted of sexual offenses against minors and other serious crimes.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, the arrests are part of ongoing enforcement operations targeting public safety threats nationwide. Federal officials said those taken into custody include gang members, individuals convicted of child sexual offenses, and other offenders with significant criminal histories.

During a March 3 Senate hearing on the Department of Homeland Security, Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis pushed back on claims by Democratic lawmakers about Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrest data.

“Contrary to what Senators Dick Durbin and Alex Padilla said in Secretary Noem’s Senate hearing today, nearly 70% of illegal aliens arrested by ICE have criminal records. Just yesterday, ICE arrested MS-13 gang members, child predators, and drug traffickers,” Bis said. “These are the public safety threats we are removing from American communities every single day. Nearly 70% of ICE arrests are illegal aliens who are charged with or convicted of a crime in the United States.”

The Department of Homeland Security said the arrests included individuals convicted of crimes such as sexual battery of a victim under 13 years old, criminal child enticement and other sexual offenses involving minors.

“Yesterday, ICE arrested some of the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens, including pedophiles, child predators, drug traffickers, and other monsters,” Bis said.
