U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the arrests of additional criminal illegal aliens across the country, including individuals convicted of homicide, sexual offenses against minors and drug-related crimes.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the arrests are part of ongoing enforcement operations targeting public safety threats nationwide. Officials said those taken into custody include individuals convicted of crimes such as murder, child molestation, attempted rape and drug trafficking.
Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said the arrests reflect continued enforcement efforts focused on individuals with serious criminal histories.
“Yesterday, ICE arrested criminal illegal alien murderers, pedophiles, and sex criminals – the very definition of depraved,” Bis said. “Under President Trump, if you come to our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you and arrest you. There is nothing that will stop ICE from putting American families, American children, and American lives FIRST.”
In additional remarks, Bis said Immigration and Customs Enforcement continues to prioritize individuals convicted of serious offenses.
“The media and sanctuary politicians continuously ignore the criminal illegal aliens ICE law enforcement is arresting from American neighborhoods,” Bis said. “Yesterday alone, ICE arrested multiple murderers, pedophiles, and drug traffickers. President Trump has been clear: If you break the law, you will face the consequences. Criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S.”
Bis also said enforcement operations include individuals convicted of crimes such as incest, sexual assault of a child and attempted rape.
“Yesterday, the heroic men and women of ICE arrested child predators, sex criminals, drug traffickers and other despicable criminals, including one sick individual convicted for second-degree child molestation and second-degree incest,” Bis said. “Under President Trump, if you come to our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you and arrest you. The safety of the American people comes FIRST.”
