Adalberto Guerrero-Alba/Mexico/Aggravated Kidnapping, Sexual Abuse of a Child
Adalberto Guerrero-Alba, a 47-year-old citizen of Mexico and an illegal alien in the United States, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) New Orleans following his release from local custody. Guerrero-Alba has a violent criminal history that includes convictions for aggravated kidnapping and sexual abuse of a child—both serious felonies that placed him on ICE’s radar for immediate enforcement action.
His aggravated kidnapping conviction involved the unlawful abduction and restraint of a minor victim under circumstances that caused significant trauma. According to law enforcement records, Guerrero-Alba used threats and force during the commission of the offense. The victim was later identified as a child, making the charge especially severe under state and federal law. The additional conviction for sexual abuse of a child confirms Guerrero-Alba’s predatory behavior and classifies him as a serious threat to public safety.
Guerrero-Alba had previously entered the U.S. illegally and was never granted legal immigration status. Following his criminal proceedings and prison sentence, ICE placed an immigration detainer on him to ensure he would not be released back into the community. He was taken into ICE custody directly after serving time for his offenses and now awaits the outcome of removal proceedings.
He remains detained at an ICE facility in Louisiana, where he will be held until his deportation is finalized by an immigration judge.
