Adolfo Efrain Esteban-Mas/Guatemala/DWI

Adolfo Efrain Esteban-Mas, a 38-year-old citizen of Guatemala, was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) San Antonio. Esteban-Mas was identified as being unlawfully present in the United States and taken into custody following his release from local detention.

Esteban-Mas has a criminal history that includes two convictions for driving while intoxicated (DWI), offenses that can pose a significant risk to public safety. These convictions reflect a pattern of reckless behavior with the potential to endanger lives on public roadways. His most recent DWI conviction occurred in 2023, following a prior offense in 2019. In both instances, he was sentenced to time in county jail and placed under court supervision.

After serving his time, Esteban-Mas was transferred to ICE custody for immigration enforcement action.
