Alejandro Perez Miramontes, a 54-year-old Mexican national, is a criminal alien and 12-time deportee arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on August 20 during a targeted operation in southeast Texas. Authorities describe him as a repeat immigration violator due to his long history of unlawful returns to the United States after removal.​

According to ICE records cited in news reports, Perez Miramontes has been convicted eight times for illegal reentry and four times for illegal entry, demonstrating a persistent pattern of violating U.S. border and immigration laws. He has also been convicted twice each for robbery, larceny, and burglary, as well as once each for trespassing and evading arrest, adding a significant property and public-safety crime history to his record.​
