Andres Hernandez Sanchez/Mexico/Possession of Amphetamine, DUI

On July 2025, ICE New Orleans arrested Andres Hernandez Sanchez, a citizen of Mexico who is unlawfully present in the United States. Hernandez Sanchez has a criminal history that includes a conviction for possession of amphetamine, a controlled substance, and a separate conviction for driving under the influence (DUI). These offenses were committed while Hernandez Sanchez resided in the U.S. without legal status.

The amphetamine-related conviction stems from an incident in which Hernandez Sanchez was found in possession of illegal narcotics during a routine law enforcement encounter. In a separate case, he was arrested and convicted for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, endangering both himself and others on the road. These convictions led to ICE initiating enforcement action against him.
