Anthony Campbell, a 46-year-old citizen of Jamaica, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) New Orleans during a targeted operation aimed at locating and detaining criminal aliens with serious violent records. Campbell, who is illegally present in the United States, has a lengthy and severe criminal history spanning multiple charges across several jurisdictions.

His offenses include possession of cocaine, domestic violence, and domestic assault, indicating a pattern of violent behavior in the home. He has also been arrested and charged with aggravated assault with intent to kill and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon—both considered highly dangerous felonies. These charges suggest a clear threat to public safety and have placed him at the forefront of ICE’s priority list for detention and removal. Additionally, Campbell has been charged with violations involving Schedule II and III controlled substances, further deepening the severity of his criminal profile.

At the time of his arrest, Campbell had no legal status in the United States and was not in the process of regularizing his immigration standing.
