Blanca Ledesma-Vega/Mexico/Attempted Burglary, Drug Possession
In May 2025, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Salt Lake City’s Las Vegas Sub-Office arrested Blanca Ledesma-Vega, a 33-year-old Mexican national with a history of criminal offenses in Nevada. Ledesma-Vega was previously convicted of attempted burglary of a business and was most recently arrested by local law enforcement for discharging a firearm and possessing illegal narcotics.
Her initial conviction for attempted burglary stemmed from a 2022 incident in which she was caught trying to unlawfully enter a commercial property after hours. She was apprehended at the scene, charged, and later convicted in Clark County, Nevada. Following her sentence, she remained in the United States without legal status.
More recently, Ledesma-Vega was arrested again in 2025 after police responded to reports of gunfire in a residential area of Las Vegas. Officers found her in possession of a firearm along with controlled substances, leading to multiple new charges. These recent arrests brought her case to the attention of ERO Las Vegas.
Upon confirming her illegal immigration status and criminal history, ICE officers arrested Ledesma-Vega and placed her in immigration custody. She is currently undergoing proceedings before an immigration judge and remains detained pending the outcome of her case. ICE is actively coordinating with relevant authorities for further legal action and potential removal.
