Braulio Rosas-Ayala/Mexico/Rape, Sodomy

On December 18, Braulio Rosas-Ayala, 44, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested following his arrest for rape and sodomy. Court records confirm serious charges involving sexual violence, crimes reflecting extreme threats to victim safety and public welfare.

An immigration judge ordered Rosas-Ayala removed on January 16, 1999, but he remained unlawfully present in the United States for over 26 years following the removal order. Federal authorities apprehended him during a recent enforcement operation after local law enforcement verified his criminal record and immigration status. “He was taken into custody without incident and processed for immigration proceedings,” an ICE spokesman said.

Rosas-Ayala remains in federal custody pending deportation. Officials are executing his removal based on the prior removal order issued nearly three decades ago and his continued illegal presence in the United States following the immigration judge’s 1999 decision.
