Caleb Aragon Venegas
Caleb Aragon Venegas/Mexico/Femicide, Illegal Entry
ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations, working with federal law enforcement partners, removed 29‑year‑old illegal alien Caleb Aragon Venegas to Mexico on September 18. Mexican authorities in Puebla had issued an outstanding arrest warrant for Aragon Venegas on a femicide charge, prompting coordination to return him to face prosecution.
Aragon Venegas entered the United States illegally on an unknown date and at an unknown location. U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents arrested him near Lukeville, Arizona, on April 10, 2024, and an immigration judge ordered his removal on September 8.
Following that order, ICE transported Aragon Venegas from the Eloy Detention Center to the Dennis DeConcini Port of Entry in Nogales, Arizona, where officers formally transferred him to Mexican law enforcement custody. Officials emphasized that his removal demonstrates ongoing cooperation with foreign partners to locate and deport fugitives who pose a threat to public safety in both countries.
