Carlos Cisneros/Mexico/Illegal Entry, Illegal Reentry, DUI

ICE San Diego arrested Carlos Cisneros, a 25-year-old citizen of Mexico who is illegally present in the United States. Cisneros has a criminal history that includes convictions for illegal entry, illegal reentry after deportation, and driving under the influence. His repeated violations of immigration law and disregard for legal processes have led to multiple encounters with law enforcement.

Cisneros was first apprehended by U.S. authorities for entering the country without authorization. After being formally removed, he returned unlawfully, resulting in a conviction for illegal reentry, a federal offense. In addition to his immigration violations, Cisneros was convicted of DUI, an offense that carries significant safety risks due to impaired driving. The combination of these convictions reflects a persistent disregard for both immigration laws and public safety regulations.

Prior to his latest arrest, ICE had been monitoring Cisneros as part of broader enforcement operations targeting repeat immigration violators with criminal convictions. His history placed him on ICE’s priority list for apprehension. Officers located him in the San Diego area and conducted the arrest without incident.

Following his arrest, Cisneros was transported to federal custody, where he will remain while his immigration proceedings are completed. If ordered removed again, he will be deported to Mexico in accordance with federal immigration law. Given his past reentry, authorities will also review potential additional federal charges to address his repeated violations. His case underscores the ongoing efforts to identify and detain individuals who repeatedly violate U.S. immigration laws and commit crimes while in the country.
