Carlos Daniel Mayorga Carrion/Nicaragua/Illegal Presence

by G. George | June 03, 2025

Carlos Daniel Mayorga Carrion, a citizen of Nicaragua, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers with ICE San Antonio for unlawfully residing in the United States. Mayorga entered the country at an unknown date and location without inspection or parole by a U.S. immigration official. After verifying his status, ICE determined he was in violation of federal immigration law and had no legal authorization to remain in the United States.

Mayorga’s arrest came during a targeted enforcement action focused on individuals with unresolved immigration status. ERO officers located and apprehended him without incident. He was processed at a local ICE facility and issued a notice to appear before an immigration judge for further proceedings. Officials confirmed that Mayorga had not been granted any legal relief, adjustment of status, or temporary protection that would allow him to remain in the country.

He is currently being held in ICE custody pending the outcome of his immigration court case. Mayorga does not have any pending criminal charges but is considered removable due to his unauthorized entry and lack of legal status. ICE has initiated formal removal proceedings against him, and he will remain in custody until his case is adjudicated. The agency continues to conduct targeted operations aimed at enforcing immigration laws and removing those who have no lawful basis to remain in the U.S.
