On February 3, 2025, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Dallas arrested Cesar Augusto Delgado-Sanchez, a citizen of Nicaragua. Delgado has been convicted of sexual assault strong arm and lewd/lascivious acts with a minor and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

In another case, on March 14, 2025, ICE arrested 38-year-old Colombian national Julio Cesar Henao-Cordoba outside his residence in State College, Pennsylvania. Henao-Cordoba is wanted by Panamanian authorities for the aggravated rape of a minor, with an arrest warrant issued on September 2, 2020.

Henao-Cordoba initially entered the United States unlawfully and was apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol near Eagle Pass, Texas, on May 26, 2022. He was subsequently transferred to ICE custody and enrolled in the Alternatives to Detention program, allowing him to remain in the U.S. pending immigration proceedings.

Despite the serious charges pending against him in Panama, he remained at large until his arrest in March 2025. Following his apprehension, ICE officers coordinated with Panamanian law enforcement to facilitate his removal. Henao-Cordoba is currently in ICE custody, awaiting deportation to Panama, where he will face prosecution for the alleged sexual assault of a minor.
