Colon Pibaque
Colon Pibaque/Ecuador/Cocaine Smuggling
ICE New Orleans deported Colon Pibaque, a citizen of Ecuador. Court records reflect a felony conviction for cocaine smuggling, for which the sentencing court imposed a 135-month prison term. After completing the criminal portion of his case, Pibaque was transferred to immigration custody under a final order of removal and prepared for repatriation.
Removal processing included biometric identity verification, collection of certified judgment and sentencing documents, and coordination of travel authorization with the Government of Ecuador. Deportation officers scheduled a repatriation itinerary consistent with transport and security protocols and escorted Pibaque throughout the transfer. Upon arrival in Ecuador, custody was turned over to national authorities.
The criminal judgment that established removability is now part of the permanent immigration record and will be referenced in any future admissibility determinations. With the removal executed, United States custody for this immigration case is concluded.
