Deciderio Gambino-Vidal/Mexico/Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Battery, Possession of a Controlled Substance

Deciderio Gambino-Vidal, a 46-year-old Mexican national, was arrested by officers with ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Salt Lake City. His arrest follows a history of criminal convictions in the United States, as well as an existing final order of removal issued by an immigration judge.

Gambino-Vidal has a criminal record that includes convictions in Las Vegas, Nevada, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a stolen vehicle, and battery. These offenses, particularly those involving stolen property and physical violence, place him among individuals prioritized for enforcement by ICE due to public safety concerns.

He has previously undergone removal proceedings and was issued a final order of removal by an immigration judge. Despite this, Gambino-Vidal remained unlawfully present in the United States, prompting renewed enforcement action. ERO Salt Lake City took him into custody without incident.

With the final order already in place, Gambino-Vidal will be processed for deportation without further delay. He will be repatriated to Mexico in coordination with international authorities, concluding ICE’s enforcement action in this case.

Gambino-Vidal remains in ICE custody while removal arrangements are finalized.
