Edgar Bernabe Estrada/Guatemala/Breaking and Entering, Fictitious License, Larceny
On October 20, officers from ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations Washington, D.C. field office arrested Edgar Bernabe Estrada, a 45‑year‑old illegal alien from Guatemala, in Arlington, Virginia. Estrada had entered the United States illegally at an unknown time and location, without inspection or authorization by immigration officials.
Estrada’s criminal history includes a conviction for breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, for which he previously served more than two years in prison. He has also faced charges for manufacturing, selling, or possessing a fictitious operator’s license, as well as multiple larceny offenses dating back to the early 2000s.
Following his most recent release from local custody under Arlington County’s non‑cooperation policy with federal immigration authorities, ICE initiated a community operation to locate and apprehend him. Estrada is now in ICE custody pending immigration removal proceedings.
