Edgar Vargas-Manzano/Mexico/Sureños Gang Member

Edgar Vargas-Manzano, a 38-year-old Mexican national and confirmed Sureños gang member, was arrested by ICE Salt Lake City officers during enforcement activity in Magna, Utah. Vargas-Manzano had previously been removed from the United States but returned unlawfully without authorization. His gang affiliation and repeated immigration violations made him a target for enforcement by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Prior to his latest apprehension, Vargas-Manzano had been deported after prior arrests but later reentered the country in violation of federal law.
