Eduardo Aguilar/Mexico/Solicitation to Commit Murder, Threats Against Federal Officers, Firearm Possession
Federal authorities in Dallas arrested 23-year-old Mexican national Eduardo Aguilar after he allegedly used TikTok to offer $10,000 bounties for the killing of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
Prosecutors say his October 9 post, written in Spanish, called for “10 dudes in Dallas” willing to kill ICE agents and promised “10K for each ICE agent,” language investigators interpreted as a direct solicitation to commit murder against specific federal law enforcement personnel.
Aguilar, who entered the United States illegally in 2018 and has been under a final order of removal since February 2019, was taken into custody with a loaded 9mm handgun in his vehicle, exposing him to a potential felony gun charge on top of federal threat counts.
He is charged with transmitting a communication containing a threat in interstate or foreign commerce and has been ordered detained pending trial, facing up to five years in federal prison if convicted.
