Emelio Neftaly Pineda
Emelio Neftaly Pineda/El Salvador/Domestic Assault, DWI
ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers in Boston have taken El Salvador native Emelio Neftaly Pineda back into immigration custody following his release from federal prison for illegally reentering the United States.
His record includes domestic assault and battery, violating a restraining order, a prior DWI, and an active warrant for leaving the scene of an accident, demonstrating a pattern of violence and disregard for court orders and traffic safety.
After he completed his sentence for federal reentry violations, ICE coordinated directly with prison authorities to transfer him immediately into immigration detention, preventing his return to the community.
Pineda is currently held pending deportation proceedings, and officials report that his case has been prioritized because of his repeated unlawful entries and multiple public-safety-related offenses. He will remain detained while legal steps are finalized to remove him from the United States.
