ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers in Baltimore arrested Mexican national Emigdio Enriquez-Ramos on September 26 after identifying him as a removable criminal alien.

He was previously convicted of a third-degree sex offense in Prince George’s County, Maryland, a felony-level sexual crime that triggered federal immigration scrutiny.

Following confirmation of his conviction, officers located Enriquez-Ramos, took him into custody, and issued a notice to appear before an immigration judge to begin formal removal proceedings.
