Eni Miranda

Eni Miranda/Honduras/Child Endangerment

by G. George | June 25, 2025

Eni Miranda, a 36-year-old citizen of Honduras and an illegal alien in the United States, was arrested by ICE New Orleans following multiple encounters with local law enforcement in Louisiana. Miranda’s criminal history includes three separate failures to appear in court, indicating a pattern of disregard for the U.S. legal system. In addition to these failures, she has been cited for driving with a suspended license, a serious offense that endangers public safety and violates state motor vehicle laws.

Most concerning are Miranda’s charges related to child safety. She has been arrested for child endangerment and cited for a child restraint violation, both of which suggest negligent behavior while operating a vehicle with a minor present. These types of violations are taken seriously by both state authorities and federal immigration officials, as they directly jeopardize the well-being of vulnerable children.

Miranda was taken into ICE custody without incident and is currently being held at a detention facility in the region. Immigration authorities confirmed that she has no lawful status in the United States and will remain in custody throughout the duration of her removal proceedings. ICE has filed the appropriate charging documents with the immigration court, and she will be scheduled for a hearing before an immigration judge. Pending the outcome of that proceeding, Miranda faces removal from the United States due to her unlawful presence and her criminal history.
