Evelyn Jimenez/Mexico/Felony Drug Trafficking

Evelyn Jimenez, a citizen of Mexico, was arrested by ICE New Orleans following her conviction for aggravated felony drug trafficking. Jimenez had been sentenced to 18 months in jail prior to her transfer into ICE custody. According to ICE records, she was identified as being illegally present in the United States and was previously encountered by law enforcement during a drug trafficking investigation involving the possession and intent to distribute a controlled substance.

The arrest took place after her release from criminal custody, and she is now being held pending removal proceedings.
