Flavio Ricardo Ledezma Nuno/Mexico/Controlled Substance Possession, Possession of Another ID
Flavio Ricardo Ledezma Nuno, a Mexican national, was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following four separate criminal convictions for knowingly possessing a controlled substance, possession of another person’s identification, and additional public order offenses. The charges establish a pattern of repeated narcotics possession and identity document fraud.
Ledezma Nuno’s controlled substance convictions reflect repeated narcotics possession incidents across multiple dates, establishing a pattern of reoffending. Court records document an additional conviction for unlawful possession of an identification document that did not belong to him, indicating identity fraud. The public order convictions document conduct disruptive to public safety or peace, entered alongside the narcotics and identification offenses.
Following the completion of his criminal sentence, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) took Ledezma Nuno into custody. He is currently detained pending removal proceedings to Mexico.
“ICE prioritizes the removal of foreign nationals with multiple criminal convictions demonstrating patterns of repeated illegal conduct,” said an ICE spokesman. “The combination of narcotics possession, identity document fraud, and public order violations reflects an ongoing disregard for the law that threatens community safety.”
The arrest represents ICE enforcement against a foreign national with multiple drug possession convictions and identity document fraud. The case was coordinated between federal immigration authorities and local law enforcement agencies that initially prosecuted the criminal charges.
