Freddy Mogollan/Guatemala/Assault, False Imprisonment, Bodily Injury to a Pregnant Woman
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement St. Paul arrested Freddy Mogollan, a citizen of Guatemala. Ramos-Lopez has been convicted of false imprisonment, and assault/bodily injury/pregnant woman and sentenced to 365 days in jail.
A few days before, on February 13, 2025, Eddie Damian-Guillen, a 38-year-old Guatemalan national, was sentenced to 23 months in federal prison for illegally reentering the United States after being previously removed. It is reported that Damian-Guillen had been deported following a conviction for assault with a deadly weapon in Massachusetts.
Despite his removal, he unlawfully reentered the U.S. and was subsequently apprehended by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). His criminal history and repeated violation of immigration laws contributed to the sentencing. This case underscores ICE’s ongoing efforts to enforce immigration laws against individuals with serious criminal backgrounds.
