George Bestman/Liberia/Sex Assault, Domestic Violence

Liberian national George Bestman was released from the Minnesota Correctional Facility–Faribault on June 16, 2025, under Department of Corrections inmate number 263849. Advocacy posts referencing DOC data identify him as a criminal illegal alien convicted of multiple offenses, including larceny and assault, tied to domestic violence and sexual assault-type conduct in Minnesota.

His Faribault release occurred amid heightened scrutiny of state custody transfers and post-release tracking of violent offenders.
