Graham Humphrey
Graham Humphrey/United Kingdom/Indecent Liberties with a Child
On July 2025, ICE Atlanta arrested Graham Humphrey, a 71-year-old illegal alien and citizen of the United Kingdom, who had been residing unlawfully in the United States. Humphrey has a prior conviction for indecent liberties with a child—an offense involving inappropriate sexual conduct with a minor that led to his identification as a public safety threat and enforcement priority.
ICE officers located Humphrey during routine enforcement operations and confirmed his illegal status and criminal conviction. He was taken into custody without incident and is now being held pending removal proceedings. Due to the nature of his crime involving a child victim, Humphrey is considered a high-priority case for removal and poses no further risk to the community while in ICE detention.
Humphrey’s conviction makes him ineligible for immigration relief under current federal law. Offenses involving crimes against children result in automatic bars to most forms of legal status, and his advanced age does not shield him from the consequences of violating U.S. immigration law or committing serious criminal acts.
ICE has confirmed that Humphrey will remain in custody until his deportation to the United Kingdom is carried out. The agency emphasized that individuals with sexually exploitative criminal histories will continue to be targeted for enforcement actions and removed from the country whenever legally permissible.
