Greenwell Arcadio Ojeda-Valderrama, 27, a Venezuelan national, was arrested by ICE Denver and is currently in custody as a result of multiple serious charges filed against him. Ojeda-Valderrama is illegally present in the United States and now faces pending felony-level charges stemming from a violent incident. Local law enforcement in Colorado filed two separate felony assault cases against him, including one for felony assault with extreme indifference. This specific charge typically indicates the alleged act involved a reckless disregard for human life and caused significant or potentially fatal harm. The second felony assault charge adds to the severity of his situation and legal vulnerability.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations agents placed Ojeda-Valderrama into immigration custody following his release by local authorities. He had no lawful immigration status to remain in the country and had not obtained any type of legal relief, asylum, or parole. His arrest comes amid increased coordination between ICE and local law enforcement agencies to identify and detain noncitizens involved in violent or high-level criminal activity.

Ojeda-Valderrama’s case remains pending in both immigration and criminal courts. He is currently held without bond and will appear before an immigration judge to determine whether he will be removed from the United States following adjudication of his criminal matters.
