Herasimo Manjarrez/Mexico/Drug Trafficking and Sales
Herasimo Manjarrez, a 51-year-old Mexican national, was arrested by ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Seattle and is currently detained at the Northwest ICE Processing Center (NWIPC) in Tacoma, Washington.
Manjarrez is suspected of using fraudulent immigration documents to secure employment in the United States. This arrest follows his previous removal from the U.S. in 2022 after a conviction for drug trafficking.
Investigators allege that Manjarrez reentered the country unlawfully and obtained employment by presenting counterfeit documentation. His prior criminal conviction and subsequent illegal reentry have led to charges of document fraud and illegal reentry, both serious federal offenses.
ICE officials have emphasized that individuals who have been previously deported and reenter the U.S. without authorization, especially those with criminal histories, are subject to heightened enforcement actions. Manjarrez is currently in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.
