On May 6, 2025, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Denver arrested Homaidan Ali Ilbrahim Al-Turki, a 58-year-old Saudi national and convicted criminal, following his release from the Arapahoe County Jail in Centennial, Colorado. Al-Turki has a history of serious criminal activity and has been identified as a suspected national security concern.

Al-Turki first came to the attention of law enforcement in the early 2000s and was later convicted in 2006 on multiple felony charges including unlawful sexual contact, false imprisonment, and other related offenses tied to the exploitation of a woman he had brought to the United States. He was sentenced to an extended prison term in Colorado and served years in state custody before being paroled. Throughout his incarceration, concerns were raised regarding his ties to extremist ideology and his potential risk to public safety.

Upon his recent release from local custody, ICE officers arrested Al-Turki and placed him into immigration detention based on his criminal record and national security concerns. He has no current lawful status in the U.S. and had previously been ordered removed.

He is currently being held at an ICE detention facility pending the outcome of his removal proceedings. ICE is coordinating with Saudi Arabian authorities regarding repatriation if removal is approved.
