Indra Murillo Carpio/Mexico/Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary, False Report to an Officer

In July 2025, ICE New Orleans arrested Indra Murillo Carpio, a citizen of Mexico who is unlawfully present in the United States. Murillo Carpio was taken into custody as part of ongoing enforcement efforts targeting foreign nationals with serious criminal histories and unresolved immigration violations.

Murillo Carpio’s criminal record includes convictions for aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and filing a false report to law enforcement. These felony-level offenses involve the use or threat of violence, unlawful entry, and intentional deception of police authorities—all of which elevate her case as a public safety concern under immigration law.

ICE officers located and arrested Murillo Carpio without incident. Due to the severity of her past crimes, she was immediately processed and placed into removal proceedings. Aggravated felonies such as robbery and burglary generally disqualify an individual from most forms of relief and lead to mandatory detention under U.S. immigration law.
