Isidro Jimenez/Mexico/Assault
On February 26, 2025, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in coordination with the FBI, arrested 51-year-old Isidro Jimenez, a Mexican national unlawfully present in the United States. The arrest occurred in Coachella, Calif., and was part of a targeted operation conducted by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations Los Angeles Fugitive Operations Team and the FBI’s Inland Empire Safe Streets Task Force.
Jimenez has an extensive criminal record in Riverside County, Calif. His prior convictions include assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, and possession of controlled substances for sale. ICE records show that Jimenez had previously been removed from the U.S. and had illegally reentered the country.
During the arrest, Jimenez was taken into custody without incident at a residence in Coachella. He was then transported to the ICE Adelanto ICE Processing Center, where he is currently being held pending removal proceedings.
“ERO Los Angeles prioritizes enforcement actions against unlawfully present individuals who have committed serious crimes in the United States,” said Thomas Giles, ERO Los Angeles Field Office Director.
A federal immigration judge will determine the outcome of Jimenez’s case. If ordered removed, ICE will coordinate his deportation.
