Ivis Yahel Preza-Lopez/El Salvador/Battery, Controlled Substance Possession

HSI Integrated Operations Group arrested Ivis Yahel Preza-Lopez, 39, a citizen of El Salvador, on September 9. Records confirm that he has been charged with battery and possession of a controlled substance. Following his arrest, he was processed through intake and placed into ICE detention. Preza-Lopez is currently being held in custody pending federal criminal prosecution, in addition to immigration proceedings.

The battery charge reflects a violent incident involving physical contact, while the controlled substance charge links him to narcotics-related activity. Both charges have been entered into certified court filings and added to his immigration case file for review during proceedings. The pending federal prosecution increases the seriousness of the case, as it places him within the jurisdiction of both criminal and immigration courts simultaneously.

During processing, ICE officers confirmed Preza-Lopez’s identity through biometric verification, documented his prior immigration history, and collected certified copies of his charges.
