Jaime Lojano-Villa/Ecuador/DUI
Jaime Lojano‑Villa is a 33‑year‑old citizen of Ecuador who was arrested by ICE Buffalo officers during a weeklong enforcement operation across Central New York. The operation, conducted September 14–19, targeted criminal aliens and immigration violators and resulted in 35 arrests.
Lojano‑Villa has a prior conviction in the United States for driving under the influence, reflecting impaired operation of a motor vehicle while unlawfully present in the country. In addition, immigration records show that he already has a final order of removal issued by an immigration judge, meaning he was legally required to leave the United States but remained.
Because of this combination of a DUI conviction and noncompliance with a removal order, Lojano‑Villa was taken into ICE custody as a priority case and now faces execution of his outstanding removal order to Ecuador.
