Jaime Lopez-Ochoa, a 45-year-old citizen of Mexico, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) New Orleans as part of an ongoing effort to detain illegal aliens with significant criminal histories. Officers apprehended Lopez-Ochoa without incident after confirming his identity and prior convictions through federal databases.

Lopez-Ochoa’s criminal history includes several offenses committed across multiple jurisdictions. He has been convicted of possession of marijuana, for which he was cited and later prosecuted. Additionally, Lopez-Ochoa was involved in a hit-and-run incident, where he fled the scene of a traffic collision, resulting in criminal charges. Beyond these charges, his record includes multiple convictions for driving under the influence (DUI), indicating a repeated disregard for public safety and court-ordered legal compliance.
