Jan Aguilar/Honduras/Aggravated Assault with Bodily Injury

Jan Aguilar, a citizen of Honduras, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) New Orleans following his involvement in a violent criminal offense. Aguilar, who is illegally present in the United States, has a criminal record that includes a conviction for aggravated assault with bodily injury—a serious offense indicating the use of force that resulted in harm to another person. This type of violent conduct places him among the higher priority cases for immigration enforcement due to the threat such individuals pose to public safety.

Aguilar was located and apprehended during a targeted enforcement operation led by ERO officers operating out of the New Orleans Field Office.
