Jesus Reyes/Mexico/Alien Smuggling

Jesus Reyes, a 21-year-old citizen of Mexico, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) San Diego officers after authorities confirmed his prior criminal conviction for alien smuggling. Reyes entered the United States illegally and has no lawful immigration status. His conviction stems from a federal case involving his active participation in smuggling foreign nationals across the border for financial gain.

Alien smuggling is a serious federal offense that often involves the reckless transportation and concealment of individuals under unsafe conditions. In Reyes’ case, court records show that he knowingly aided in the unlawful entry of multiple individuals into the U.S., endangering their lives and violating federal immigration law.
