Jorge German Aglony/Chile/Possession of Child Pornography, Elder Abuse, Hit and Run with Property Damage

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers with the Newark field office arrested 66-year-old Chilean national Jorge German Aglony on September 26 based on his record of serious crimes against children and vulnerable adults.

His convictions include receiving child pornography and possessing child pornography, documenting both acquisition and retention of illicit sexual images involving minors.​

Aglony has also been convicted of inflicting pain and suffering on a dependent adult or elder, petty theft, hit and run with property damage, and driving under the influence, reflecting additional offenses against an elderly victim, property, and roadway safety.

Public information does not specify the original offense dates, sentence lengths, or supervision conditions, but ICE officials have classified him as a criminal alien whose combination of child-sex-abuse material, elder abuse, and repeat misconduct warranted priority arrest and immigration detention. He remains in ICE custody as removal proceedings move forward.
