Jose Alfredo Gomez-Hilario/Mexico/Procure for Prostitution
On July 2025, ICE Washington, D.C. arrested Jose Alfredo Gomez-Hilario, an illegal alien from Mexico, following criminal charges related to prostitution. Gomez-Hilario has been charged with procuring for prostitution, commonly referred to as pimping—a serious offense that involves facilitating or profiting from the exploitation of others, often in coercive or abusive circumstances.
The arrest occurred as part of ICE’s ongoing enforcement efforts targeting criminal aliens with histories of exploitation, abuse, and offenses against vulnerable individuals. Gomez-Hilario was taken into custody without incident and is now being held pending removal proceedings.
Given the nature of the charge—facilitating prostitution—Gomez-Hilario is considered a public safety risk and will remain in detention throughout the course of his immigration case. Crimes involving commercial sexual exploitation are heavily weighted in immigration law, making him ineligible for most forms of relief and subject to expedited removal.
ICE officers are coordinating with local authorities to monitor the status of his criminal case while pursuing his removal through immigration court. Once those proceedings conclude, Gomez-Hilario may face deportation to Mexico based on the severity of his charge and illegal status in the United States.
