Jose Solorzano-Chavez/El Salvador/Attempted Felony Murder

On December 18, Jose Solorzano-Chavez, 24, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, was arrested following his arrest for attempted felony murder. Court records confirm charges for attempted felony murder, a serious violent offense reflecting extreme threat to public safety and victim welfare.

An immigration judge ordered Solorzano-Chavez removed on October 5, 2022, but he remained unlawfully present in the United States for over three years following the removal order. Federal authorities apprehended him during a recent enforcement operation after local law enforcement verified his criminal record and immigration status. “He was taken into custody without incident and processed for immigration proceedings,” an ICE spokesman said.
